We had a fabulous time touring the Italian lakes, from Lake Como to Lake Maggiore (my favourite!) and Lake Orta. We wrapped up our holiday in Piedmont with plenty of good food and wine.

A big thank you to Pamela and Gourmet Trails for making it such a magical and memorable 2+ weeks for us, and for the attention to details!

Excellent trip all round! Itinerary was thoughtfully customized to delight the entire family from 5 to 68 years old. Every meal was mouth-wateringly delicious, spanning across both street food and famous restaurants. Seki-san, our driver in Hokkaido was wonderfully patient and always had a smile and kind word for the little ones. They loved him!

Kenya was so good to us!
From the moment the family landed in Nairobi, we were well-cared for by our drivers and all our lovely hosts at the camps. We had amazing game drives, each one outdoing the one before. By our second drive at Amboseli, we sighted a mama cheetah and 3 almost-grown cub boys. And we got lucky not once (but twice!) with leopards.

Kazakhstan & Uzbekistan were beyond my expectations. It was a delight and insightful to chat with the guides and locals; hearing folklore, stories, and history from a different perspective. The historical monuments and Soviet era architecture were impressive and pictures do not do it justice.
