    TAIWAN, March 2016

“This was our first overseas trip with both our parents and in laws. We had a total of 7 people with half of us having an average age of 25 and the other half with an average of 50. As such, it was definitely difficult to plan a trip given our group size and wide age gap. Fortunately, through a friend’s positive review and recommendation, we decided to let Reveplanner plan our itinerary in Taiwan.
Reveplanner is friendly and very meticulous; they will take into considerations of the fine details such as access to lift in our accommodation (therefore arranging our parents to stay at ground level if there is no lift access). Furthermore, the directions to our accommodations/ restaurants were very useful.
Due to detailed planning, we were spared the effort of doing any pre-trip research which made the trip less stressful and hence more enjoyable. In addition, with a stroke of good luck, we were able to experience snowing in Taiwan which is especially rare in March. Though the weather was unexpectedly cold, it was still an amazing experience and we would not trade anything for it.
Overall, it was a very pleasant trip and we are glad that we trusted Pamela and her team to plan for our very first combined parents trip. In future. we will definitely get Reveplanner to plan for our future trips and we urge everyone to do the same too.”

“We had a wonderful and unforgettable experience in Italy! It was easy to move around with your detailed itinerary. Initially, Kelvin & I were worried about the safety in Italy since we had 2 kids in tow. Fortunately, security in those cities we visited was tighter during this period.

We had an awesome stay. Those accommodations you had organized were clean, comfortable, peaceful ambience & conveniently located. Hotel Dharma – small but modern & clean; Alloro B&B – very spacious; Anthony/Setimo Cielo is extremely helpful and friendly; Adorabile – stylishly furnished & Franz is informative & helpful.

Special thanks to your colleague Serene Tai for her patience & detailed explanation at the pre-trip briefing. A note to share on the Venice itinerary map. The “star” or pointer occupied in the middle of 4 lanes. We could not tell to enter via which lane.

Kelvin & I shared your contact with our relatives, friends & colleagues. We will definitely come back to you if we plan for our next personalized trip.”

Yati: “The FOOD!!!  Thank you sooo much as we had such a wonderful gastronomic adventure.  We are now spoilt and would never look at tempura, sushi, sashimi, eel in the same light!  Just EXQUISITE and this is despite my dietary constraint. Before it slips my mind, the noodle house just outside Natadera Temple that you have recommended has one of the BEST tofu that we had. And it was snow crab season at Kanazawa in November!!!”

Irene: “I am such a Jap cuisine snob now that the generic Jap restaurants here are no longer good enough! What have you done to our palate!”

“The trip was AWESOME!! The wifi walker was a great help during this trip! It kept us connected and we had reception even in the mountains!  Having English programs on our iPads gave us some connectivity to the outside world while we were in the outskirts. We encountered snow at Tateyama due to the drizzle.  Weather wise, it was wet in most of the places that we visited – but cannot complain as we had days where it was cloudy/no rain which enabled us to do our walkabout.

Thank you for the onsen stays!  I am still bound by my conservativeness and was only able to enjoy Beniya Mukayu’s private onsen to the fullest.  Irene, on the other hand also did the public baths in the onsen ryokans.  Each has its own uniqueness but Beniya would take top prize for this visit.  The room, food, service – just wonderful!  It was also good to meet hotel interns there that could speak English!  However, we keep going back to Yama No Chaya as comparison – what have you done to us!

Thanks again for putting together our itinerary.. We had a great time!”

“We enjoyed Switzerland very much. In general, everything that you had planned for us went smoothly. For example, the maps you provided us, transport directions, food options, were all helpful. The accommodation was as you had communicated to us, which was good and weren’t in for any unpleasant surprises. In particular, the host at Vevey was very friendly and helpful, made us feel very much at home.

Also, we thoroughly enjoyed the hike led by Doris- Doris was very experienced and knowledgeable and we enjoyed our interactions with her. She also provided helpful advice which enabled us to ascend the Jungfrau on a clear day. Overall, the activities were well-planned and arranged. Perhaps, what could be improved may be to provide some optional activities, because on a number of days we ended the day quite early and won’t have mind exploring more places ? Nonetheless, we enjoyed ourselves and would be keen to engage your service if we may have the opportunity to travel in such a manner again ?

Thanks again for providing us such a great experience!”

But thanks to your good arrangements and a wonderful driver, the entire trip was a breeze! Once again, thanks very much for the help!”

“Pam made arrangements for our family of 4 to travel to Switzerland and Italy in autumn 2015. The trip was quite tough to plan given our family’s diverse needs, but the team did a great job and our elders thoroughly enjoyed themselves. A couple of highlights included Gourmet Trails food recommendations, the easy hike in the Swiss alps with our fabulous guide – Doris, and the very knowledgeable contact in Rome – Marco. This is our second time requesting Pam’s help to plan our holidays and as always, she goes to great length to ensure that we have a fantastic experience. We keep going back for more as RevePlanner never fails to deliver!”

“We had one of the most memorable and enjoyable holidays in Italy and would like to credit this to RevePlanner for their well-thought-out plan and recommendations. We are glad that we went with their recommendations, especially places that are less frequently ventured, for they complete the whole Italian experience.

We got to see uniquely contrasting characteristics of Italy regions, from shopping in fashion capital of Milan, basking in the historical and artistic atmosphere of Florence, tasting good Italian wine in Montepulciano, enjoying the romantic walks along Venice canals, discovering what Pompeii city looked like, getting treated to serenade by boatman in Blue Grotto, to learning Roman history from our friendly tour guide in Rome and more!

We are pleased with their plan as we generally could visit all major places of interests at our own pace. We also had time to explore other interesting places we chanced upon. The travel kit was very useful, with clear directions and maps, and we had no problem getting to our destinations on time. The accomodations are all clean, comfortable and conveniently located. We like most of the food recommendations and were thankful we could survive 2 weeks without our beloved Singaporean food!

My husband and I are busy working individuals and we both find planning a good holiday time-consuming. We defintely need help in planning and arranging all the nitty-gritty for such long trips. We will definitely go back to RevePlanner for our next long holiday!”

“The trip was great (well… other than that pick pocketing incident)! We like the flexibility as we changed some of the itinerary as we go along.
All the food recommendations was great. We didn’t manage to try some – e.g., we arrived late in Madrid due to flight delay and missed the lunch appointment. Can Majo in Barcelona – the lobster paella was too salty, so not sure if we ordered the right thing. We loved the gourmet walk! And we would highly recommend them. We also managed to catch a small string concert (they played Vivaldi’s 4 seasons, Pachelbel’s Canon) in Paris, in the church in Saint-Germain-des-Prés as we saw the poster and that was lovely too.
Oh.. The bnb experience in Venice was great as well! And rail is the way to go! Haha”
