  • Gourmet Trails donates to the UN World Food Programme under company Profit Pledge.

Gourmet Trails confirmed the completion of its annual donation to the United Nations World Food Programme, honouring the company’s ongoing 1% Profit Pledge toward efforts against food crises and global hunger.

Since establishing its annual profit pledge two years ago, Gourmet Trails has viewed positive impact generation as a core part of its business philosophy. This monetary commitment from profits reinforces a tangible form of giving where business success creates good, beyond borders.

Pamela Tan, founder and director of Gourmet Trails said: “In the modern era, many of today’s hunger crises are preventable — driven by systemic inequality, armed conflict, and economic policy rather than shortages in global food production. As a company built on the world’s diverse cuisine and cultures, we are proud to support the vital work of the WFP in 120 countries.”

A Nobel Peace Prize recipient in 2020, the World Food Programme was awarded for its efforts in combating hunger, promote peace, and prevent the use of hunger as a weapon of war and conflict. The organisation also heads food security initiatives in communities facing economic hardship, and climate-related challenges.

As Gourmet Trails continues to grow, the company remains committed to its annual pledge and to supporting initiatives that address hunger and food insecurity worldwide.

  • During Middle East airspace closure, Gourmet Trails clients receive gift of luxury wellness retreat.

Recent airspace closures in the Gulf region have disrupted travel plans for many holidaymakers — and one local luxury travel company is responding with an unusual goodwill gesture.

Gourmet Trails is stepping up to address the ’emotional loss’ of cancelled holidays. Understanding the disappointment of a cancelled trip that was planned for months, affected Gourmet Trails clients are being offered a complimentary 4 days luxury wellness retreat redeemable in March 2026.

This initiative reinforces the company’s commitment as a stalwart of our clients’ time. Founder and director of Gourmet Trails, Pamela Tan, says:

“We want our clients to feel that we will always protect the emotional investment they place in GT journeys — even in circumstances beyond our control. Gourmet Trails is able to provide this because of industry connections and solid business foundations that we have built over 16 years. It is a genuine gesture with no strings attached.”
