“A wonderful sojourn with accommodation and food of the highest quality. The trip was well organised and Gourmet Trails highly recommended.”
Dr Benedict Chua, alumnus
“It was a lovely trip. I enjoyed particularly:
Good hotels throughout, with wonderful views from room windows. I felt I could almost touch Tokyo Tower by just stretching out my hand. I believe most of us loved the Ritz Carlton in Nikko. I loved the room, which was a suite, with large bathroom, luggage room, and wonderful view of the river.
The food was excellent, most notable being the tempura and omakase sushi.
I enjoyed the shopping in Tokyo. Tomoko was a wonderful guide, she accompanied us shopping, and it was a lovely experience.
I feel the the Hitachi Seaside Park was not worth the visit, also the sake tasting.
Generally, a very good tour, well looked after by guides and drivers.”
